Story
Dr. Dempsey was born and raised in West Michigan and is grateful to return to his hometown to service his community. Dr. Dempsey completed a BA in Chemistry at Hope College in Holland, Michigan. He then attended Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry where he received his Degree of Dental Surgery in 2019. While in dental school, Dr. Dempsey became aware of the relationship between systemic and oral health and became passionate about understanding this connection. With this pursuit in mind, Dempsey went on to complete a 3 year American Dental Association Periodontal Residency at the University of Missouri Kansas City. Periodontal study concentrates on diagnosis, treatment and prevention of periodontal disease by focusing on both underlying medical and dental causes. Additionally, the scope of periodontics includes regeneration of supporting structures around teeth and their substitutes, with the ultimate goal of maintenance of health, function and esthetics.
Driven by attention to fine detail and a commitment to excellence, Dr. Dempsey also achieved advanced residency training in Dental implants and Cosmetic Surgical Procedures. He utilizes state of the art technology, such as 3 dimensional treatment planning and guided tissue regeneration, to help his patients obtain the results they desire.
Dr. Dempsey strongly believes that patients must be evaluated individually. He is understanding, compassionate and professional; working collaboratively with patients and their primary dentist utilizing proven, safe and reliable treatments. Dr. Dempsey is committed to providing the finest care possible.
