Dental exam and diagnosis

A comprehensive exam evaluates your oral health by assessing the following

  • Gum Health

  • Bone Health

  • Your teeth and how they bite together

  • Your medical health

  • Full set of Xrays (Can be from your own dentist or taken in our office)

What To Expect

Dr. Dempsey will collect your gum measurements using a small ruler. This includes measuring recession (amount of exposed tooth root) and mobility of your teeth. Dr. Dempsey will then correlate this clinical information with what is seen on your x-rays in order to form a personalized treatment plan that helps you obtain your oral health goals.
